Yoga in Small Spaces

Sure, they can be “efficient” and even ”charming,” but let’s face it, folks: Small spaces suck. Whether you’re killing time in a cab on your way to an interview, feeling claustrophobic from your same ol’ view of the office cubicle farm, or fantasizing about punching a hole in the wall of your studio apartment just so [...]

Let it Shine

It’s Gonna be Grand

You heard it here first, friends: Another Maya Whole Health Studio is opening!
Please join us for the Grand Opening of Maya Whole Health at Southport
January 28th to February 7th

(We’re so excited, how could we *not* celebrate for ten days straight?!)

Next Thursday, January 28th, we open the doors to our beautiful new studio on the south shore of Lake Washington in one of our most favorite towns outside the Center of the Universe: RENTON! (For those of you who are as geographically challenged as we used to be, this is not the IKEA part of Renton.)

Maya Whole Health at Southport is located right off of I-405, at Exit 5. It is super convenient to get there from several communities — Kennydale, Newcastle, Bellevue, Lakeridge, Skyway, Rainier Beach, and the Boeing plant — yet it is nestled back in the Bristol complex, providing a serene, retreat-like atmosphere for our lovely Maya community to relax, unwind, let go, strengthen, and GROW.

Maya Southport will offer a full schedule of yoga and Pilates, top of the line massage, acupuncture, and skin treatments. Additionally, this studio features a fun little boutique, offering apparel from lululemon athletica, prAna, Clary Sage Organics, and Prairie Underground, as well as handmade jewelry from Seattle-based Divine Design, luscious body products from bien ella, fair trade chocolate from fellow Fremont purveyor Theo Chocolate, and many other goodies.

Please come by to celebrate with us at any of the following events

I’m thrilled to be doing some marketing, communications, and social media work for Maya for the next little while. As I do my [...]
