Acupuncture
Acupuncture involves the insertion of small needles into specific locations in the body referred to as acupuncture points, mapped over a period of 2,000 years. Acupuncture helps move energy in the body to bring it into balance.
Maya offers acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
East Asian Medicine (acupuncture/moxa/herbs/tui-na) can be used to treat for a whole range of medical conditions including:
- Pain (Acute, Chronic, etc.)
- Arthritis
- Injury recovery
- Allergies
- Asthma
- Indigestion
- Diarrhea/Constipation
- Headaches/Migraines
- Reproductive health (Libido, Hormonal, PMS, etc)
- Psychological/Emotional balance
For patients who pay at time of service, the following are expected fees for East Asian medicine/acupuncture treatment:
- First Time Visit (90 minutes) – $125
- Follow-up Visits (60 minutes) – $85
Insurance Billing Available. Maya provides billing services and accepts payments directly from most insurance providers with plans that include acupuncture treatment. Please contact us to ask for more information on how to determine eligibility.
CANCELLATION POLICY | Acupuncture – Massage – Skincare – Private Lessons
You may cancel an appointment 24 hours prior to service with no financial penalty. Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice may result in a charge of 50% of the missed treatment. In the event of a no-show, you will be charged the full amount of the service scheduled.
