London’s Summer Olympics 2012 are underway! Tradition. Triumph. Glory.
Whatever the Games hold for the athletes and their countries, we are reminded by Sir Paul McCartney, “And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make,” the message he sings near the end of the Opening Ceremonies on Friday, July 27.
Which gets us to thinking … about the mystery of manifesting what we want in our lives, regardless of our circumstances. We have many teachers …
The Bible says, “Therefore I say unto you, whatever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you will receive them, and you shall have them.” (Mark 11:24)
The Sufi poet Rumi tells us,
No one knows What makes the soul wake up so happy. Maybe a dawn breeze has blown the veil from the face of God…The Law of Attraction says that you attract into your life whatever you think about. Many say it’s the great secret of life.
A lot to think about, indeed.
So whatever this day holds for any one of us in the Maya community, as we come to our mats, we are reminded to ask, believe … and receive.
